Experience
Over 40 years experience as an attorney, handling a wide variety
of matters including: complex securities, bankruptcy, tax, corporate,
antitrust, patent, employment, commercial, mergers-and-acquisitions,
intellectual property law, as well as the common law involved in
various commercial transactions and disputes. Also experienced in
the procedural rules applicable to state and federal trial and appellate
proceedings. Expertise has been recognized by admission to the American
College of Trial Lawyers as well as in the following publications:
"Who's Who in American Law"; "The Best Lawyers in
America"; "Who's Who in America"; "The World's
Leading Competition and Antitrust Lawyers"; "The World's
Leading Litigation Lawyers"; "An International Who's Who

in a wide range of community and professional activities which include
serving as a Trustee with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Also serves
on Harvard Law School's Dean's Advisory Board, and as a member of
the Antitrust Modernization Commission that is studying antitrust
laws and in 2007 will submit recommendations to Congress and the
President. Has also served in the United States Marine Corps.

as well as a number of disputes during tenure with Kirkland and
Ellis.

Compensation
$500 Per Hour
Hourly rate for hearing, conference, and study time; plus reasonable
expenses. 1/2 time charged for reserved time when arbitration is
cancelled less than 21 days before hearing. Also open to alternative
billing arrangements.
